If your bank is not available on Plaid, you can manually connect your bank account using micro-deposits.
In order to do this, we will ask you to provide your routing and account numbers during the account connection process. Then, you will need to enter the small amounts deposited into your bank account to confirm that it is yours.
Follow these steps:
Select Connect Bank Manually on the bank linking screen.
Enter your account number, routing number and account type, which will be sent to our partner, Apex, for verification.
Apex will send two ACH deposits of a few cents each. These micro-deposits will appear within 2-3 business days. Your Q.ai account will show as “pending” during this time.
To verify the deposits, tap Account Settings in the upper left corner in the app. Scroll down and select Bank Account, then tap Verify Account on the right to enter the micro-deposit amounts as seen in your bank account transactions.
Apex will verify your account based off the amounts you entered. If the amounts match, you’ll receive an approval that your bank account is ready for funding. If the amounts entered do not match, you will be asked to try again.
If you make three incorrect attempts, of if the 10-day verification window has passed, the micro-deposits must be reissued. They can only be reissued 2 times.
