How do I move money between Portfolios?
You can move funds between all of your portfolios at any time without incurring a fee. You can move funds by tapping the move money icon on the lower right in the app menu and selecting move money within Q.ai.
When you initially add funds to your Q.ai account from your bank account (after connecting your bank), the transfer can take 1 to 2 business days (withdrawals, on the other hand, can take up to 10 business days). At this stage, you can designate which portfolio funds will be allocated to.
You’ll notice on your performance dashboard that you have a DIY Portfolio, AI Portfolio and Cash Portfolio. You have the flexibility within Q.ai to move your money between all three portfolios, even after you make the initial investment.
The only requirement when moving money is making sure you hit the minimum investments for each portfolio. The minimum amount for your DIY Portfolio is just $40. The minimum required balance you need to be invested in the AI Portfolio, however, is $400.
