Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your investment account.

2FA requires two sources of verification to sign into your account (your password and a one-time code sent to you via SMS).

Every time you log in or make changes to your account, you’ll be required to verify your identity with 2FA.

To ensure your account is as secure as possible, we recommend that everyone enables 2FA.

How to set up 2FA

  1. From the home screen, tap Account Settings

  2. Scroll down to Two-Factor Authentication

  3. Select SMS as your authentication method

  4. Enter your phone number and tap continue

  5. Enter the verification code sent via SMS

  6. Copy your emergency backup code and store it somewhere secure
